Short Term health insurance, sometimes called Term health insurance or Temporary health insurance, is designed to help bridge gaps in your health care coverage during times of transition. This is quite similar to the Long-Term Care Insurance but as the name implies it usually spans for the duration of a year or even less. This Policy does not require the high premium amount that the Long Term Care Insurance requires and is even designed to work the same as the LTCI. The difference is that after a given period, the policy gets forfeited with a right to No Claim Bonus.
